Saudi Arabia has made important steps regarding commercial agencies system, with the abolition of the Saudi nationality requirement for the establishment of a commercial agency, the necessity of the head of the agency’s capital to be fully Saudis; all this comes within the framework of Saudi Arabia international commitments after its accession to the World Trade Organization and the signing of free trade agreement.
By contrast, Saudi Systems stressed quality as a fundamental criterion to maintain private commercial agencies licenses and ensure the non writing-off of the regulations. The kingdom with these resolutions give clear signals that its territory is open to everyone for the distribution of products and services subject to compliance with regulations, laws and discipline to the terms of fair competition.
We are working on making it easier for investors to get commercial agencies through which they can distribute their products and services within the territory of the Kingdom and neighboring areas with ease, and take advantage of the high purchasing power and the evolution of consumption patterns in the region. We are also working on offering them with all data on competitors, motivations, and risks that could face them in their investments in the Kingdom.
